300 g Fresh Piave PDO
100 g of grated mature Piave PDO
300 g stale bread cut into cubes
100 g walnut kernels
100 g butter
3 eggs
1 cup of milk
3 tablespoons white flour type "00"
an onion
a tablespoon of chives
parsley 
2 tablespoons of tomato sauce
salt to taste.

 

Preparation time: 15 min

Cooking time: 10 min

Dice the bread and the Piave Fresco PDO, add the onion fried in oil, chives, salt, eggs, milk and flour. Mix with wet hands and form large walnut sized morsels. Boil them in salted water for about 10 minutes on a slow flame. Once cooked, drain, sprinkle with Piave Vecchio, toss them with the melted butter, chopped walnuts, and the tomato puree prepared previously..
